Herbology

I run a range of herbal events, so I hope there will be an experience that will suit you and allow you to develop your own knowledge and fascination with this incredible subject.

I love the fact that I gain so much from my events too through discussion and the sharing of ideas.

I also love to collaborate with others in running events, showing the connections between herbal knowledge and other subjects, enriching our lives in many directions.

If you have a subject that you would like to explore, then please get in touch and I will try to accommodate your wishes.

I also have gift vouchers available if you would like to treat someone else to a herbal experience.

Private Events

Would you like to get together a small group of friends for a private herbal event?

Maybe this could be to celebrate a special occasion or simply to enjoy some good company whilst exploring the wonderful world of herbs together.

I can tailor the experience to your individual interests or requests and include catering if wished.

Please get in touch with me if you would like to have a chat about your ideas.

Workshops

Join me for a workshop where I teach about healing herbs.

Events usually last three hours and often include a walk to identify and explore the herbs.  In most workshops you will also learn how to make your own remedy to take away.

Themes have included:

  • Spring Tonics

  • Infusions and Decoctions

  • Syrups

  • Infused oils and salves

  • Healing through Herbs and Words – a herbal remedy and creative writing series of workshop in collaboration with poet and photographer, Janet Lees.

If you would like to be first to hear about future events, please subscribe to my email list (link in the footer).

Guided Walks

I lead walks where I introduce plants that can be harvested for food and health.

I also teach sustainable foraging practices and often give a demonstration of making a remedy.

The Herb Society

I’m pleased to be an Ambassador for The Herb Society.   Their mission is to promote the use and enjoyment of herbs and I’m happy to play my part in this.
There’s lots of herby information on their website.
