EXPLORING MEDICINAL HERB FAMILIES

This series of short workshops will explore some of the most important medicinal plant families including the Mint family (Lamiaceae), Rose family (Rosaceae), Daisy family (Asteraceae), Carrot family (Apiaceae) and Mustard family (Brassicaceae).

In each session we will look at:
• how to recognise the characteristic features of the family
• key medicinal herbs within it
• shared healing properties and plant chemistry
• sensory clues such as taste and aroma

These workshops are designed to help you see plants differently — recognising relationships and patterns in the living world rather than memorising isolated facts.

Expect fresh plant material, herbal teas, practical activities and plenty of botanical curiosity.

Suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to deepen their herbal knowledge and connection with plants.
